Pen tool

The Pen tool lets you manually create paths, lines, shapes, and straight or curved edges.

1. Click on the Pen tool or press .
2. Click anywhere on the canvas to set the first node.
3. Move the cursor, and click again to create a straight segment.
   • Click and drag to create a bezier curve.
   • Hold to move the cursor in 15° increments.
4. Confirm the path:
   • To leave the path open, press .
   • To close the path, click on the first node or press .
5. Manipulate nodes and mold path segments:
   • Hold to continue an open path.
   • Hold , then click and drag a node to transform it into a bezier curve and show control handlers.
   • Hold then click on the previous node to continue the path with a straight line.
   • Click and drag on a path segment to mold it.
   • Click on the path to add a new node.
   • Click on a node to remove it.
