Layer panel

To open or close the Layer panel, click on the button.

Create layers and arrange items

1. Click on the button in the upper right corner of the Layer panel to open a dropdown with options.
2. From the dropdown menu choose Add Layer to add a new layer.
3. Drag up or down the items to arrange them.
4. Drag and drop items in and out of Layers, Groups, or Clip Groups.

Add effects

1. Select one or more items.
2. Click on the button in the upper right corner of the Layer panel to open a dropdown with options.
3. From the dropdown menu choose Add Effect to add a new effect.

Isolation context mode

1. Select an item and press .
2. Click on the button to go back by one level in the isolation context stack or press .
3. Click on the button to exit isolation context mode or press .

Search in the layer tree

1. Double-click on the document’s name in the upper bar of the layer panel to perform a search, or press .
